Charles Humphrey Stock a 27 year old cycle worker enlisted in the Imperial Yeomanry 31st January 1901. Spent 1 year 117 days in South Africa, discharged in England 7th August 1901. Returned to South Africa and served Cape police District no 1 from 1st February 1902 until 1st May 1902. Also entitled to Soucth Africa 1901 and 1902. There is a note on his QSA Roll for 30th Company Imp Yeo to the effect that the three state clasps and South Africa 1901 clasp were issued 16th Sept 1905 to Officer Commanding Cape Mounted Police.
