Gazette Issue 30997. M.C. His Majesty the King has been graciously pleased to approve of the award of the Military Cross in recognition of his gallantry and devotion to duty in the Field. For conspicuous gallantry during an attack. He patrolled some distance beyond the objective and though he and his crew were wounded, he continued to fight his Tank, destroying several machine gun emplacements.
