14988 SJT. Cornelius Norberry South Wales Borderers. A Labourer from Merthyr Tydfil, Merthyr, Glamorganshire, Wales. Served in South Africa from February 1900 with the 3rd Bn. South Wales Borderers. He was disembodied in March 1902 and qualified for the Kings South Africa Medal with both clasps (not with the group). He applied for replacement Boer War medals in 1921. The QSA is a fixed suspender as was typical for late issue medals.

The British War and Victory Medals are his full WWI entitlement and are to 14988 Sjt. C. Norberry, S. Wales. Bord.

He passed away in Glamorgan, Wales in March 1940
