Col Conrad Charles Henry Hogg CMG RE 3 X MID was born in India on 4.8.1875 He was Commissioned into the Royal Engineers in 1902 With the outbreak of of WWI he was posted to France to coordinate work on roads and bridges on the Staff of General Fowkes. He was commissioned from RMA 17/8/94, landed in France with HQ I.C.G. on 17/8/14, and promoted Maj on 17/8/14 and Bt Lt Col on 3/6/18

A much decorated man, he was Mentioned in Dispatches three times and created a Companion of the Order of St Michael & St George for services rendered in connection with Military Operations in the Field per London Gazette 14.1.1916. He was awarded the Legion d' Honneur per London Gazette 1.5.1917 and created an Esquire of the Order of St John per London Gazette 2.1.1925.

According to the 1939 Register he was staying at the Army & Navy Club in Westminster, London and was a retired Colonel R.E.

He passed away suddenly on 20.5. 1950 in his 75th year in Marylebone, London and is interred at the Golders Green Cemetery.
