Patrick Toner of the 46th Foot was born in Newtown, Armagh in 1835. He served in Turkey, the Crimea, Corfu and India with a conduct rating of Very Good. He was discharged in 1872 with Valvular Heart Disease.
He is additionally entitled to a Crime War Medal with clasps Inkerman and Sebastopol and a Turkish Crimea Medal - which are not with this item.
