ESD/X1537 Archibald Lain Orr born Edinburgh 1914 served RN Atlantic/Italy He was MID 31.12.1943 whilst aboard HMS Antelope. RNVR LSGCM post 1952. The presence of a commemorative Malta George Cross medal suggests that he was part of the Malta Convoys which saw much action coming to the relief of that island in WWII.
