Edward White was born on 26.3.1893 in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Lancashire. He served first with the Liverpool Regiment, embarking for France on 19 May 1915. He transferred to the 8th Battalion, Royal Lancs and it was with them that he was Killed in Action in France on 10 July 1918.
He is remembered with honour on the Sandpits British Cemetery, Fouquereuil.
