Sidney James Watts was born in London in 1897. An Electrician by trade, he emigrated to Canada where he enlisted with the 3rd Bn Canadian Infantry on 22 September 1914. He was KIA at Ypres on 23 April 1915 and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial.
