Coronation Medal 1902 (P.S. G. READ. K. DIV.)
Gurney Walter Read was born in Waters, Surrey on 19 May 1879. He joined "K" Kilburn Division of the Metropolitan Police on 30 September 1901 and was in time to earn the 1902 Coronation Medal. He resigned to pension on 8 October 1928 after 27 years service, at the age of 49.
He died on the Isle of Wight on 22 November 1937.
Medal is in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research.
