The General Service Medal 1962 -2007, also referred to as The Campaign Service Medal, this replaced the GSM (Army & RAF) and the Navy GSM in 1964 and was backdated to December 1962 to cover the Borneo campaign.

Borneo clasp awarded for 30 days service ashore, afloat or 1 operational sortie from 24th December 1962 and 11th August 1966

Lance Corporal Rambahadur Limbu, 2/10 Princess Mary's Gurkha Rifles was awarded the VC during this campaign.
