Mention in Despatches (MID) Bronze

A single bronze oakleaf awarded between 10th August 1920 and 1994 to signify a Mention in Despatches, Kings or Queens Commendation for brave conduct or for valuable service in the air. This was only awarded to service personnel, civilian awards having their own emblems.
