George Harcourt Roberts was born in Wallasey, Cheshire. He enlisted with the RAF in 1936 and saw Home Service during WWII as an Armament Fitter. Post-war he served in Aden and Palestine and was discharged in 1966.
He was awarded the 1953 Coronation Medal as a member of 80 Squadron, Far East Air Force (Defence Service) and the British Empire Medal per LG 10 June 1954 in the Queens Birthday Celebrations.
He died in Truro, Cornwall in 1966
