Daphne Arscott was born Daphne Cronin in Ross, Herefordshire in 1926. She married Joseph Carter Cronin on 16 October 1945. She was awarded the British Empire Medal for her work as Bristol City Organiser for the Women's Royal Voluntary Service.
She passed away in Weston-super-Mare in 2018
