Silver War Badge (B25318) - attributed to Pte Frederick Smith 9797 South Wales Borderers & 130606 Labour Corps
Frederick Smith attested for service with the South Wales Borderers on 9 January 1908 and served with their 2nd Battalion in Gallipoli from 25 April 1915. He was reported Wounded in Action whilst there on 7 August 1915. Having transferred to the Labour Corps with no. 130606, he was awarded the Silver War Badge, no. B253183, for Sickness on 5 April 1919.
Badge is in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research. Also entitled to a 1914-15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal which are not included.
