Victory Medal (348549 GNR. W. BEAVER. R.A.)
William Beaver was born in Oakham, Rutland on 27 March 1883. A Grocer's Porter, he enlisted for service with the Royal Artillery on 12 December 1915 and was posted to France much later, on 15.5.17. His papers indicate that he was Wounded in Action 6.11.17
The 1939 Register records that he was a Grocer's Warehouseman living at 10 Parkfield Road, Oakham. He passed away in 1964.
Medal is in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Also entitled to a British War Medal which is not included.
