Victory Medal (TS-565 A.SJT. S. WILLIAMS. A.S.C.)
Sydney Williams served with No. 1 Coy, Army Service Corps. He was born in 1877 and attested for WWI on 11.8.1914, seeing service in France. He was discharged as a result of sickness on 26.4.1917 and was awarded Silver War Badge no. 174162.
According to the 1939 Register he was a Hairdresser living at 26 Dartmouth Avenue, Bath, Somerset. He is mentioned as being a Pensioner RASC TS-565 which tallies exactly with his army number.
Medal is in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research. Please note that the 1914 Star, British War Medal and SWB that were awarded to him are not included.
