Victory Medal (59472 A. SJT. C. WOODYATT. R.A.M.C.)
Cecil (Cyril) Woodyatt - he appears to have been known by both names - was born in Sudbury, Derbyshire on 8 June 1887. A Clerk in the Sudbury Dairy Factory when he enlisted for service with the RAMC in WWI, he rose to the rank of Acting Sergeant and saw out the war without incident.
According to the 1939 Register, Woodyatt was a Managing Clerk in the milk trade and was living at 21 Allman Road in Birmingham.
He died at 2 Goodwin Close, Kidderminster, Worcestershire in January 1964.
Medal is in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research. Also awarded a British War Medal which is not included.
