Henry Thomas Bryant was born in London in 1892. A Dock Labourer by trade he was, according to the 1939 Register, living at 30 Brixham Road, West Ham. He was awarded the BEM as a Cold Store Blockman with the Port of London Authority in the New Years List of 1 January 1948.
