Frederick William Theodore Wall was born in Dover, Kent on 7 May 1917. He attested for service with the Royal Artillery and, having served in the ranks for 10 years, was promoted to WO Class 2. He served throughout WWII in this capacity until commissioned a Lieutenant Quartermaster on 31 July 1958. He was promoted to Major/Quartermaster on 2 November 1966 and retired on his birthday in 1972.
He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and, in the LG of 1 January 1968 (Birthday Honours) was awarded the MBE Military with the Royal Regiment of Artillery.
He passed away in Brighton on 21 November 1985
