Imperial Service Medal EIIR (JAMES ARTHUR EDWARD QUARRINTON STANFORD)
James Arthur Edward Quarrington Stanford was born in Medway, Kent on 5 February 1902. According to the 1939 Register he was a Dockyard Shipwright living at 22 Thorold Road, Chatham. His employment as a Shipwright with H.M. Dockyards was confirmed in the London Gazette of 20 February 1942.
Stanford was awarded the Imperial Service Medal as a Shipwright working at Chatham in the London Gazette of 28 September 1962. He died in Dartford in 1969.
