Police Exemplary Service Medal EIIR (CH.INSPR. PETER C. AUSTEN)
Peter Charles Austen of the Sussex Constabulary was born on 6 March 1929. He joined the Hastings Police in 1948 and was promoted to Sergeant in 1958 and to Inspector in 1964. In 1967 and 1968 he was the chief instructor at the Shorncliffe Annex. He was stationed at Bexhill until 1970.
He passed away in Rugby, Warwickshire in 1995.
Medal is in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research.
