Police Exemplary Service Medal EIIR (CH.INSPR. EDGAR FOXON)
Edgar Foxon was born in Ashbourne, Derbyshire on 14 December 1925. He joined the Derbyshire Constabulary in 1949 and served at Chesterfield and headquarters, Matlock, before moving to Long Eaton and Buxton. He was promoted Sergeant in 1960, Inspector in 1965 and Chief Inspector in 1967.
He was awarded the Police Long Service Medal in 1972. He passed away in Ashbourne on 15 April 2003
Medal is in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research.
