Police Exemplary Long Service Medal EIIR (SERGT. DAVID. J.W. JENKINS)
David John William Jenkins was born in Wales on 8 April 1909. At the time of the 1939 Register he was a Constable with the Norfolk County Constabulary living at Seaforth House, Bulmer Lane, Blofield and Flegg, Norfolk.
He served in WWII with the 71st Medium Regiment of the Royal Artillery and was awarded the War Medal only, being discharged to the Reserve in April 1941. This was posted to him on 18 May 1949 to the Police Station in Dilham, North Walsham, Norfolk.
Medal is in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research.
