Ronald Lacey Jeffs was born in King's Norton Warwickshire on 8 June 1913. With the outbreak of WWII he enlisted with the Royal Engineers seeing service with the 1st Army in North Africa, followed by service in Italy where he was Mentioned in Dispatches in the London Gazette of 29 November 1945.
Jeffs claim for his medals was a late one - they were posted to him on 28 January 1982 - all medals confirmed by his medal application CS20.
Jeffs died in Edgbaston, Birmingham on 27 December 1982.
Medals have some glue residue on the reverse otherwise in good condition. Sold with some research.
