Sub Officer Stanley Arthur Edwards was from Cirencester, Gloucestershire. Born on 17 January 1902, he was a Builder's Labourer, according to the 1939 Register and was living at 68 Midland Road, Cirencester. He was also a Fireman with the Cirencester U.D.C.
He died in April 1980.
