George William Adams was born in 1915 and came from Aston in Birmingham. He served with the 1st Bn Devonshire Regiment in WWII and died on November 12, 1940, on which day his battalion was stationed on the North West Frontier of India. They were not involved in a major battle on that specific date but were undertaking garrison and internal security duties. He is interred in the Karachi War Cemetery.
Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research.
