1939-45 Star; France & Germany Star; War Medal 1939-45 - all unnamed as awarded and in original box of issue addressed to Mr L.V. Hutchings 42 Foxhall Road, Didcot, Berks.
Leonard Vivian Hutchings was born in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire in 1914. He served with the 50th Royal Berkshire Regiment from 24.6.1940 before transferring to the Royal Military Police on 25.1.1941 with whom he saw service in France & Germany as a Traffic Controller until his discharge on 7.12. 1945.
According to the 1939 Register he was living at 42 Vauxhall Road, Wallingford and was a Builders Labourer by trade.
He died at 19 Kynaston Road, Didcot, Oxfordshire on 7 November 1978.
