Walter William Badger Berrie was born in West Derby, Lancashire in 1914. He was a keen rugby player and served with the King's Regiment in WWII.
He was Wounded in Action in North West Europe on 1 August 1944.
His medals were posted to him at "Alington" Blundellsands Road West, Liverpool after he was released from the army on 12 November 1945. He died in Cheltenham in 2000.
