Frederick Charles Simonds was born in Hartley Wintney in 1918. According to the 1939 Register he was a Farm Labourer living at the above address with his widowed mother and younger brother Henry. He served with the Royal Army Ordnance Corps in France & Germany in WWII and passed away in Winchester, Hants in 2009.
