This clasp was awarded for 11 operations against insurgents in Burma between 16th April 1889 and 18th April 1892 and followed on from the two earlier Burma clasps.
Surgeon Ferdinand Simeon Le Quesne, Royal Army Medical Service was awraded the Victoria Cross for the Poukhan expedition.
