J44672 CPO Harry Thomas Clowes born Portsmouth 14.12.1899. Enlisted 1916 served aboard Resolution in WWI. Pensioned on 13.12.1939 but recalled for WWII to HMS Dolphin, the Shore Establishment at Gosport; and Commissioned as a Master Gunner in 1940 where he served at HMS Vernon, the Shore Establishment at Portsmouth.
As a Petty Officer he was awarded the 1935 GVR Jubilee Medal
According to the 1939 Register he was living at 17 Herbert Road, Gosport, Hampshire and was a Chief Petty officer with the Royal Navy.
He dies in Shawell, Leicestershire on 3.3.1977
