Henry Jones was born in 1891 in Bridgend, Salop. At a very early age he attested for service with the Royal Army Medical Corps on 26 August 1903 and saw service with the 1st Field Ambulance, being posted to France on 18 August 1914.
He was discharged Sick on 26 October 1916 and was awarded the Silver War Badge no. 22441. His address post-war was 22 St Mary's Steps, Bridgend, Salop - an address that tallies with his entry in the 1921 England census where he is a 30 year old Gardener employed by Mrs Hartley, living at that address.
Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research. The SWB is not included.
