Florence Marjorie Joice nee Lewis was born in Stretton, Shropshire in 1925. According to the 1939 Register she was living at 31 St Olave's Walk, Mitcham, Surrey. Unsurprisingly at the age of 14, she was listed as "Seeking work. Not previously employed."

She was awarded the British Empire Medal in the London Gazette of 31.10.1981 in recognition of her work as the Registrar Supervisor, Head Office, of the Soldiers', Sailors' and Airmen's Families Association.

She died in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk in 1998.

Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research. The WW2 medals cannot be definitively stated to have been awarded to Joice. They may have belonged to a family member.
