British War Medal (14-45405 PTE. C. HARLEY. NOTTS. & DERBY R.)
Charles James Harley was born in Pattingham on 26 June 1891. He enlisted for service in WWI with the 20th Notts & Derby Regiment on 11 December 1915 and later transferred to the Durham LI with no. 99989. After some time in England he was posted to France on 20 April 1916 and was Wounded in Action on 30 October 1916. He was repatriated to England and placed on the Reserve.
Harley died in Seisdon, Staffordshire in October 1969.
Medal is in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Sold with some research. Also entitled to a Victory Medal which is not included.
