Cadet Forces Medal (FG. OFF. E.C.P. DEWING. R.A.F.V.R.(T))
Flying Officer Eric Charles Percival Dewing RAFVR (Training) was born on 17 October 1896 in Grimsby, Lincs. He had served with the Manchester Regiment as a Lieutenant in WWI.
According to the 1939 Register, Dewing lived at Woodplace Farm in Coulsden and Purley in South Croydon where he was an Estate Manager to Farms in the area.
He appears on the RAF Training Branch List as a Pilot Officer wef 15.3.1945. In later life he took an active interest in local politics.
He died in Lincoln in 1975
Medal is in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Sold with some research. Dewing does not appear to have earned any medals for WWI.
