India Police Medal for Distinguished Conduct GVR (Alexander Charles Boyd, Dy. Supdt. Burma Police)
Alexander Charles Boyd served withe the Burma Police, rising to the rank of Deputy Superintendent. Having joined the force on 8 October 1926 he was awarded the India Police Medal for Distinguished Conduct in 1933.
According to the 1942 Civil List for Burma he was still in service in the same capacity.
Medal is in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research.
