Alberto Keens was a Chief Engineer with the Merchant Navy. Born in Bradford on 26 April 1884 he was awarded the British War Medal and Mercantile Marine Medal for his service during WWI.

He was recalled for special service in WWII, from 16.5.1943 until 25.5.1944, whereafter he was made redundant after serving aboard S.S. Asteria  - there is no indication of him being awarded any medals for WWII.

He died in Cameron Hospital, West Hartlepool, Durhamon 21 January 1946 at the age of 61.

Medals are in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Sold with a comprehensive dossier including WWII documents from the National Archives
