Police Exemplary Long Service & Good Conduct Medal GVIR (CONST. FRANK H. SINGLETON) - with box of issue addressed to Singleton of the Staffordshire County Police.
Frank Horace Singleton was born in Nantwich, Cheshire on 4 September 1906. He enlisted with the Staffordshire Constabulary in the 1930's and was, according to the 1939 Register, a Police Constable living at 78 Pelsall Lane, Aldridge.
Singleton was, for much of his life, deployed in the Rushall area. He was awarded the Police Long Service Medal as a member of the Lichfield division of the Staffs. County Police at a parade held at Lichfield police station in January 1953.
He passed away in 1988. A Defence Medal was also earned by Singleton but this is not included.
Medal is in good condition unless otherwise indicated.
