The South African Medal for War Services was a medal awarded for voluntary service in support of the war effort between 6 September 1939 and 15 February 1946. About 17 500 were issued in total and were accompanied by a certificate. The requirement was a minimum of two years service of which one year was continuous.
Medal is in good condition unless otherwise indicated.
