Frank Bertram Carter was born in Thingoe, Suffolk on 22 March 1895. He saw service in the Egyptian theatre in WWI, disembarking on 30 March 1915 with the East Anglian Field Ambulance. Having been returned to England, he was posted back to Egypt on 24 July 1916 and was finally repatriated to the UK on 3 April 1919.
His address in 1919 was Netherhall, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
He died in Tolworth, Surrey on 24 January 1957.
Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research. Please note that the 1914-15 Star is self-engraved. Carter was entitled to a 1914-15 Star but possibly lost his original issue.
