Victory Medal (1538 DVR. J.F. BROWN. R.E.)
Joseph Frederick Brown was born in Bletsoe, Bedfordshire in 1885. He was embodied for service on 26 September 1914 but only sent to Egypt on 20 August 1915. He remained in that theatre until being repatriated and discharged to the Reserve on 7 August 1919.
According to the 1918 Absent Voters List he was living at The Cot in Elstow, Bedfordshire.
Brown was also awarded the 1914-15 Star and British War Medal which are not included.
Medal is in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with research.
