Craftsman F Milburn served with the Royal Electric & Mechanical Engineers in WWII. He saw post-war service in Palestine during the turbulent years after the war and was attached to 3 Parachute Battalion over the period 22 September 1947 until 11 May 1948, which qualified him for the award of the General Service Medal. This was awarded to him on 16 December 1953, at which point he was a Staff Sergeant.
Possibly Fenwick Milburn born in 1920 who married in Miesbach, Bavaria, Germany in September 1946 whilst stationed overseas.
Medal is in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Please note from the photo attached that we have left the medals in the mounted order they came to us.
