Melville MacMaster was born in the Cape Province on 23 March 1919. A Post Office Clerk, he attested for service with the SAAPC - South African Army Postal Corps - on 6 January 1944 and served in Italy.
He was repatriated to South Africa in 1945 and was discharged on 6 June 1946. His address was P.O. Brentwood Park, Benoni, Transvaal. Prior to enlisting he had married Eva Emily Verity De la Rey in Benoni on 31 December 1943.
Medals are all in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Sold with some research.
