Humphrey John Heighway was born in Kimberley, South Africa on 24 July 1922 He attested for service with the 21st Field Battery, South African Artillery on 29 September 1940 and later transferred to the South African Air Force with whom he saw service in Italy.
Heighway was a Surveyor's Draughtsman by profession and lived at 186 Du Toitspan Road, Kimberley. He was a Mine Surveyor when he married on 18 April 1946.
Medals are all in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Sold with some research.
