Graham Lewis Watkins was born in the Orange Free State on 8 February 1899. An Engine Driver, he attested for service with the Railways & Harbour Brigade of the South African Engineer's Corps and was posted to the 3 Docks Operating Coy SAEC in 1943.

He saw service in Italy with them and, after repatriation to South Africa, was discharged on 26 March 1946. He had, on 19 December 1931, many years before the war, married Annie Mary Smith in Durban at which time he was a Fireman on the South African Railways living at 72 Windermere Road.

Medals are all in good condition unless otherwise indicated. Sold with some research.
