George Hall Nurser was born in Northamptonshire on 18 July 1897. He attested for service with the Royal Engineers on 12 December 1915 and saw home service until being moved to France on 19 September 1917. He had a brief spell with the Royal Artillery (No. 233949) before moving back to the RE (No. 298891).

He was discharged to the Reserve on 22 August 1919. 

According to the 1939 Register he was a Carpenter/Signwriter living at 2 Harlwood Terrace,Tiffield, Towcester. He was also a member of the Decontamination Squad with the Northants County Council.

He died in Northampton in July 1979

Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research.
