Order of St John Maltese Cross.
In 1947, for all grades of the Order, when the ribbon only is worn, a small silver cross is displayed on the ribbon.
When the Service Medal of the Order of St John ribbon alone is worn, the Maltese cross in silver is attached for each five years’ service.
