Robert Garth Panting was born in Ipswich in 1982. He enlisted with the Royal Logistics Corps as a Driver Vehicle Support Specialist on 28 June 1899. He was promoted to Lance Corporal whilst serving at 6 Regiment RLC and to Corporal in 2008. Whilst serving on Operation Herrick he was promoted to Sergeant in recognition of his leadership attributes whilst attached to 17 Port and Maritime Regiment.
In 2019 he was promoted to Staff Sergeant and assigned to 7 Regiment RLC. "He has always performed above the accepted standard and has been a pleasure to work with." Conduct Exemplary.
Panting took his discharge on 24 April 2023 and was awarded his LSGCM in the London Gazette of 18 November 2014.
Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold original Certificate of Service, Testimonial and Oath of Allegiance together with set of mounted corresponding miniatures and copy LG entry for LSGCM.
