Arthur Robinson was born in Hinckley, Leicester in 1881. He served with the Army Veterinary Corps in WWI and contracted Malaria in service which would suggest that he was operational in tropical climes. He was discharged on 28 July 1919 and returned to his home at King Richards Road, Leicester.
At the time of the 1921 census he owned a Fish and Chip shop and had moved down the road to 40 King Richards Road. According the 1939 Register he was a Publican living at 73-75 Sanvey Gate, Leicester.
Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research.
