Thomas William Westcott served with the 12th Hampshire Regiment in WWI.
The 12th (Service) Battalion was formed at Winchester in October 1914 as part of K3 and came under orders of 79th Brigade in 26th Division. They moved to Codford but by November 1914 were in billets in Basingstoke. They moved to Bath in March 1915 and on to Sutton Veny in May. They landed in France in September 1915 but were sent to Salonika, arriving 25 November 1915. Westcott would only have joined them on or after January 1916.
Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with medal index card.
